Releaselog has always been one of my favorite websites. It’s usually very informative. It’s backed up by a great community and I can always find something on here that I would otherwise miss while scouring the ever-growing chaotic realm of the internet. I believe that’s why sites like this need to exist. To filter out the otherwise potentially dangerous or completely useless files that are littering cyberspace. I’d go as far as to say that in a way Releaselog is like cyberspaces big brother. So I would like to give back to this website and the people who run it, for all of the hours of entertainment it has brought me and help bring to you “the people” some excellent content that may have slipped though your fingers into the furthest depths of obscurity. So without further ado…
Relapse records has added a new band to their reputable roster. Hailing from Savannah, Georgia come Baroness with their fourth studio album entitled “Red Album”. From start to finish this album engages the listener in an extremely ambient yet brutally heavy sonic experience. This band is definitely in a league among the progressive masters such as Mastodon, Pelican and Tool. Not convinced?
