Black Irish is quite a remarkable limited movie which enjoyed enough buzz at various film festivals around the world. We informed about heavily watermarked dvd screener a while ago and now group iNTiMiD releases a clean dvdrip. Although one would probably think it takes place mostly in Ireland, the majority of actors are American so you don’t have to worry about Irish accent. Usual quality on 1 CD included.
In South Boston, where Irish roots run deep and Catholic tradition reigns, two brothers face similar hardships but lead far different lives. While older brother Terry descends into drugs and crime, 16-year-old Cole (Michael Angarano, The Final Season) vies to make the state baseball championships-but must struggle to withstand his brother’s destructive influence.
