The glorious days for STALKER are probably over, this FPS was now replaced by newly released Crysis and Call of Duty 4, but the game has still a lot to offer and it’s nice to see that developers care about the players. The new update v1.0005 fixes strictly multiplayer issues of the game. The patch was released in 5 versions according to the language of the game. This update obviously contains the US one.
Changelog: The optional net traffic compression on a Multi-Player server is now disabled by default. This allows to host dedicated servers on computers with low and average performance. Connecting to the server will be possible only if the host’s version of the game is the same as yours.Â
