Well, now that the Super Bowl XLII halftime show has been pred, it should be a few more hours until we get to see the full superbowl release. (no guarantees I can post them tonight) The 2008 edition of the half-time show features a live performance by Tom Petty And The Heart Breakers. Being that this event is practically a music video, it’s 12 minutes long and 175MB in size. Being that 23 minute shows are usually left to 175MB, 2HD was left with lots of room to increase bitrates in the audio and video department, including an amazing 384k CBR AC3 surround sound audio stream. The songs performed were “American Girl,†“I Won’t Back Down,†“Free Fallin’ †and “Runnin’ Down a Dream.â€
