Well, the Whistler story so far has been involving at great deal of character and plot development. Since the second episode of season two, Quinn has steadfastly decided to stay in Whistler. His mother, Jen, says to him that he can either stay in Whistler if he makes the snowboarding team, if he does not he will have to go back to college in the US. Meanwhile Jen has taken an attraction to the attractive police officer who is boarding at her house. They made out at the end of the last episode and I was like ‘uh-oh, this is not allowed’ . It is going to create a new level of drama which could be exciting. Quinn is disappointed to learn that his old girlfriend, Carrie, has a new boyfriend name Griff. Adrien, the owner of the Varland Resort and Hotel is getting desperate for new investors. Jada Temple, the black lady who’s going over the books on the resort employs Ryan for Adrian’s position. I can predict some drama will occur over this new change. This is the only drama-based show that I appreciate. All the other ones like on FOX and MTV have a bunch of rich whores who prance around about irrelevant issues in their lives and relationships. Whistler, however has an actual engaging and interesting storyline. Not to mention, it’s based in Whister where the 2010 Olympics are to take place.

Hazed and Confused: Quinn’s commitment to the snowboard team is put to the test during the club’s hazing ritual, Hell Week. The team’s star boarder, Travis, would like nothing better than to see him quit. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Quinn discovers that his mother is having a secret affair with Derek. Carrie and her roommate, Leah, struggle to make ends meet when their former roommate takes off with the rent. Carrie’s new boyfriend, Griff, steps up to help out while Nicole tries to walk the fine line of respecting Carrie’s independence and being her big sis. Adrien tries to woo a foreign investor so he can regain control of Varland Resort, but his scheme looks doomed to fail when he comes up against Jada’s new weapon - Ryan. Jada has not only hired Ryan back at the resort to keep tabs on Adrien, but she’s given him Adrien’s old job.
